WSPR enthusiasts continue to develop viewing, reporting, and analysis tools, each with its own unique contribution. The table below at (Dec 2024) highlights some of those operational during the development of the WATT software and thereafter and reviewed at Dec 2024. Some operate by “screen-scraping” the wsprnet.org site or by downloading the monthly archive files into a local database: others are real-time. The entire history of WSPR traffic can be viewed and analysed on-screen or by using SQL database queries.
The entire dataset consists (at late 2024) of nearly 8.6 Billion spots starting March 2008. Approximately 280,000 spots are added hourly. The sites below are listed in order usefulness for a beginner, are non-commercial, and all are functional at Dec 2024 with a standard browser, Microsoft Excel, or in one case via Python scripts. GitHub also holds many WSPR projects and code.
